Disney's Top-Notch Entertainment!

A lot of people think only of the rides and parades when they visit Walt Disney World. If you breeze over the live entertainment when looking at a Disney Map, you may be missing one of the best parts of the Disney experience. Not only does taking the time to watch a show at the Disney Parks give you time to relax and take a load off your feet, it gives you a chance to experience some of the most top-notch entertainment in Central Florida. There is something to watch in every park, for all ages.

Magic Kingdom is known for its exciting parades, but if your feet are tired of standing, try stepping inside the cool air conditioning of the Galaxy Palace Theater and enjoy a theatrical performance that is out of this world!

Perhaps one some of the most impressive Disney live shows are in the Animal Kingdom. Join Nemo and his friends in Finding Nemo, The Musical. The theater that you sit in is transformed into an undersea setting so that you feel like you are underwater as you watch the 30 minute spectacle of huge puppets, live actors, and special music.

Also at Animal Kingdom is Festival of the Lion King. This is a high energy, interactive performance that features acrobats. A huge Lion King cast that includes Timon, Simba, and Pumbaa are celebrating tribal style and you are invited to join in!

EPCOT is full of educational rides that don't require standing, screaming, or much of anything for that matter. One of our favorites is in the Norway Pavilion. After a flume ride through troll ridden lands, guests are able to sit and watch a very informative show about the beautiful land of Norway.

Finally, Disney MGM Studios is not without its fair share of live entertainment. The High School Musical Pep Rally has gotten a lot of national attention lately. Audience members learn highschool cheers, dance moves, and new songs in this spirited display of high school culture.

Also at Disney MGM Studios is a live performance of Beauty and the Beast. Belle, Gaston and Lumiere transport you into the world of this classic fairy tale in a show you won't soon forget!

No matter what park you visit there is always a cool and entertaining place to take a seat and relax. It's not a bad idea either, considering the size of the Disney theme parks. Before you can visit Walt Disney World and see any of these shows you will have to purchase a ticket. Check out DW Tickets for the most inexpensive Disney tickets around!

See the Sea in a Different Light!!

Sea World is undoubtedly a great place to visit while in Orlando. It's educational theme and attractions make it not only a unique place to visit, but also more laid-back than other Orlando area parks. However, there are a lot of additional perks that guests all too often overlook when they visit the park. For instance, there are numerous ways to have one-on-one interactions with the animals at Sea World.

The Beluga Interaction Program allows guests to actually get in the water with the Beluga Whales to pet, feed, communicate, and learn more about the artic animal. Guests who sign up for the Marine Mammal Keeper Experience will get to work alongside marine mammal experts as they care for marine life. Guests help prepare meals, and assist in the care for endangered species, allowing them to interact with several different animals like dolphins, beluga whales, sea lions, and walruses. The Sharks Deep Dive is a 2 hour experience that puts guests in a shark tank and brings them face to face with over 50 sharks in the Shark Encounter Attraction.

Another way to make your Sea World experience even more adventurous is to schedule a sleepover in one of the underwater viewing areas. Sleepover packages are available for families or groups and can take place with beluga whales, sharks, penguins, or manatees.

Finally, group tours are also a lot of fun and can be a more inexpensive way to spice up your trip. Guests are given the opportunity to meet, pet, and learn about animals on each tour. The Predator Tour explores the world of sharks and killer whales. The Dolphin Nursery Close-Up allows guests to interact poolside with the newest additions to Sea World's dolphin population. The Save a Species Tour lets guests experience Sea World's animal rescue, rehabilitation, and release efforts. On the Polar Expedition Tour, guests learn what is done to care for polar animals and they also get a chance to pet a penguin! The price range of all of the unique tours at Sea World is from $12 to $95 and does not include park admission.

Sea World offers so many ways to boost your experience there is no way you can go wrong! And, if you buy your park admission tickets at DWTickets.com you will not only get great deals on Sea World discount tickets, but you might also be able to use some of that leftover cash to check out some of the added fun to be found at Sea World.

Tower of Terror!!

Last Friday the 13th marked the 13th anniversary of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's MGM Studios. If you haven't been on this ride yet, you are missing out big time. Once guests are ushered into the haunted 13 story high hotel they take an eerie walk through the lobby, the library, and the broiler room. They then enter into a 1917 cage elevator "unknowing" of the danger that awaits them.

Tower of Terror is a thrill-seeker's dream. Once seated inside the elevator, guests plummet 13 stories. The speed at which you fall is faster than the ride's acceleration. As if that wasn't scary enough, riders never know what to expect-- when they are going to drop. The ride rises and falls differently every time because its motions are randomly selected by computers.

Even if you can't make it to the park this Friday for an extra spooky experience, thrills can be sought at the Tower of Terror year round. DWTickets makes it easy to get the adventure you seek with great prices on discount Disney tickets. Get yours now at www.dwtickets.com!

Do you have what it takes to be a Jedi Knight??

Every year Star Wars fanatics unite in the land of magic as Walt Disney World-MGM Studios rolls out the red carpet for Ewoks and Stormtroopers. The event occurs every weekend in June and then much to the dismay of the movie's fans, takes a 12-month break. Well, rumor has it that those who wish the event would last longer are in for a treat.

Starting at the end of July, Disney plans on turning one of the special weekend's most popular attractions, The Jedi Training Academy, into a year-round attraction. At the Jedi Training Academy, little ones are brought onto stage to learn from an actual Jedi Knight how to maneuver a light saber. Then, once they have completed training, they come face to face with Darth Vader himself as well as two Stormtroopers in a classic battle with the Dark Side.

The new Jedi Training Academy stage is just one of the many ways Disney is constantly improving and adding rides and shows to accommodate its guests. Start planning your trip now with discount tickets from DWTickets.com and experience the magic yourself.

New at Epcot!

Epcot's American Adventure has recently undergone some changes. The patriotic display of American accomplishments and culture has added some elements of the 21st century to its displays. Michelle Kwan, Tiger Woods, and the firefighters who raised the flag at ground zero after 9-11 are just a few of the new images displayed in the new show. The last 14 years of American life have been incorporated into the video that has not been updated since 1982.

The theme of the new show is the American spirit starting with the pilgrims and ending with the new millennium. Some of the new scenes depicted include images of former presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton working side by side on tsunami relief and scenes from the destroyed world trade center. Despite the many touching and grave images, the message the video sends is one of the strong American spirit and how it prevails in tough times.

The new video is 30 minutes long and can be viewed several times a day at American Adventure in Epcot's World Showcase. Buy your discount Diseny tickets at DWTickets.com now and get front row seats!

Christian Celebrations at Disney and Universal

Every year Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Islands of Adventure host two Christian celebrations full of inspiring speakers and rockin' good music. Unfortunately, they are both on the same days! So which one do you pick? Well here's a brief breakdown of what 2007's events have to offer.

Friday and Saturday, September 7 and 8, Night of Joy at Walt Disney World will feature performances by Third Day, Salvador, RED, Steven Curtis Chapman, newsboys, Chris Tomlin, Jaci Valesquez, BarlowGirl, Brian Littrell, David Crowder, and more. The park opens for Night of joy ticket holders at 7:30 and the festivities last until 12am.

Rock the Universe at Universal Studios will host performances by Casting Crows, MercyMe, Jars of Clay, Grits, Reliant K, Skillet, Jeremy Camp, and more. The park will also have special appearances by Bethany Hamilton and Daren Streblow. As if that weren't enough entertainment for one day, Universal is bringing in speakers. David Nasse, Dr. Jay Strack, and Brent Crowe will share their stories with park guests. Rock the Universe starts at 4pm and ends at 1am the following day.

Regardless of which event is best for you, it's a good idea to plan early. Event tickets will not get you into the park any earlier than the time the actual event starts. What do we recommend? Buy park tickets from DWTickets.com so that you can afford to come for a whole weekend of good times, not just one evening of fun.
